I realized today that I had not shared the somber news with you all. I regret to infrom you that MacLyntock Packer (lovingly known as "Mac") has moved on to automotive heaven. *tear* We all have our stories and adventures in Mac. He has traveled all over the country with me and countless times across the state. Lots of miles, plenty of tears, and countless peels of laughter among friends. (I even remember a certain someone crawling through the sunroof a time or two...Sara....=) ) If that grey apulstry could talk... It may seem strange, but I really am sad to see that little car go. But, what this does mean is that once I arrive back in the States, I can begin down the road toward my dream Subaru Forester. Though nothing could ever replace Mac.

Yes, let us all take a moment of silence to remember our beloved Mac...
Thank you. There will be a curbside wake for Mac at 1035 S Grand, middle parking lot. There will be a gift table for flowers and cans of oil. Memorials can be sent to the "Buy Katrina a Green Subaru" fund.
Thank you, Adam. That was beautiful.=)
I will miss him too. maybe his passing is what has Percy (my car) in such a bad and disassembled mood. Life will/does go on. hang in there;)
Kimberly & I were wondering where Mac disappeared to. Now we know. It really does make me sad to say goodbye to Mac. You're right, many fond memories of laughter and tears in that car. Ah well, many more memories to be made in your new car, whatever it will be.

That was the sound of taps being played in case you were wondering. I will miss Mac even though I never got to climb out of the sun roof.

I am very sad to hear that Mac is no longer with us! Such memories! At times like this it is important to remember not only the car we made the memories in, but the people we made them with. :) Hope you are doing well, and I'll start praying that God will provide another fun vehicle for more memories once you come back. Maybe He'll even supply a Green Subaru :D
