So I had my first day of really teaching today. I am exhausted. I spent most of the day teaching and then planning and then the gym and then walking to the store....but, then this really nice lady named Crystal gave me a ride so I didn't have to wait for the bus. I was happy. She even had one of those "Smart Cars" that are as long a regualar car is wide. It was fun.
Teaching was good. My throat was sore by the end of the day and the class was a mess, but miraculously, the kids learned and left the class laughing and smiling. God is good. I'm going to go continue to prepare for more teaching tomorrow... oh, I'm thinking about going to Scottland the weekend after this one. Does anyone have any suggestions of places to go or not go?

Congrats on a great first day! God bless you, Adam.
Glad to hear the first day went well! Praise God :-) Wow, you got to ride a smart car... cool.
As per visiting Scotland, if it were me three things come to mind. First (and something I hope to do one day) is I'd want to head over to Inverness region to check out Loch Ness and the castles surrounding it (plus it's in the Scottish Highlands). Second is I'd want to visit Inverness itself and check out the castle and cathedral. And I'd want to visit Edinburgh and visit the cathedral there.
I might check with Bennett to see what his recommendations are; he's actually been to Scotland before.
Yay! You're going to Scotland! :) I love you. I'm so glad teaching went well. I miss you. Things are going wonderfully.
God bless you bunches and bunches.
