I met with my teacher and his wife today. They were amazing! He is the kind of teacher who has a puppet theatre and costumes, and field trips and lots of fun things in his classroom. He has already set up the next puppet theatre for me to direct! I get to do drama! My heart sings.=) He is also going to take me around to the local flee markets to find some artwork. As he put it "[he] carries a black belt in flee marketing" so I'm sure I'll find some good stuff.
I won't be in the classroom for a couple more days becuase we have to take them off the get our paperwork figured out. Lots of passes to get through gates and such. Okay, random fact of the day. The gate security for the Heidelburg base (and I think all of the bases in Germany) is all run by German security guards working for a German security company. I don't really mind, but doesn't that seem just a bit ironic to anyone? Or maybe odd?
I did get through security today with Dan (mentor teacher) and Jeni (wife) when they took me to the most wonderful coffeehaus. Okay, now all the coffee shops in the States pale in comparison this one and what I am coming to learn, most of them in Europe. It had dark wood, spiral staircases, great coffee, interesting people discussing interesting things...the list could go on. It was like, the best places I've been to before, were cheap imitaions. Let's just say, I was at home.

I am glad that you get to do drama as well. God is really providing for you. It is so neat to hear about.
Okay, you're treading on sacrilege you know. Especially hailing from the center of the coffee universe, or at least the Starbucks universe. Can you post some pictures of these supposedly better than Seattle coffee spots as proof? They sound fun. Mom and I can't wait to see for ourselves when we get over there.
